The research in question deals with the incarceration of women based on the Criminal Information Report. The objective is to analyze the profile of the female population deprived of liberty in the state of Rondônia. Documentary study (GIL, 2002) carried out in the Criminal Information Report - RELIPEN 1st semester of 2023. The theoretical contributions of Perrot (2007) women; Foucault (1987) when addressing the historical context of sentences and prisons over time; Hermann (2018), Monastero (2017) who discuss female incarceration in the country were important so that the study could be discussed, the current legislation (BRASIL, 1984, 1988, 2016) also endorsed the discussion proposed in the objective. Analysis of the document allows us to affirm that women deprived of liberty in the state of Rondônia are marked by a lack of education, have children, do not receive visits from their families, and consider themselves brown. Replicating the national context in parts. Policies that are ineffective and lack continuity contribute to population growth. The State's failure to assume responsibility and carry out policies that actually aim to change the lives of women deprived of their liberty. To this end, it is necessary to consolidate policies that precede female incarceration, giving them different opportunities to pursue.
