As a methodological contribution, the precepts of qualitative research are used, anchored in Fiorentini and Lorenzato (2012), with a methodological approach structured in the heptagonal scheme described by Pais (2018), a model based on seven vertices that supported the paths taken during the investigation. The sources used to obtain data included bibliographical and documentary research and semi-structured interviews, carried out with four teachers who work/worked in the training of mathematics teachers at the Federal University of Rondônia, Ji-Paraná campus.
