SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY POLICY WITHIN THE LABOR JUSTICE SYSTEM IN THE STATES OF RONDÔNIA AND ACRE: perspectives, opportunities, and challenges for sustainable development

The objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the Social and Environmental Responsibility Policy of the Labor Courts in the states of Rondônia and Acre, considering the Amazonian context and its relationship with the implementation of sustainability and human rights. Regarding specific objectives, the study aims to investigate national and international normative frameworks focused on sustainability, as well as evaluate the contribution of the Labor Courts' social and environmental actions to the protection of human rights, including the degree of prioritization of this axis in the policy. The methodological approach will consist of mixed-methods research, using qualitative and quantitative methods, aligning with procedures such as bibliographic review, document analysis, institutional case study, semi-structured interviews, and the application of electronic questionnaires directed at judges, court employees, interns, and outsourced workers. The research problem consists of analyzing to what extent the Social and Environmental Responsibility Policy of the Labor Courts in Rondônia and Acre implements its normative references, in order to contribute to the promotion of sustainability and human rights in the Amazon. Based on this study, supported by the observation of institutional advances, gaps in the implementation of the policy, challenges encountered, as well as opportunities for improving social and environmental management, the final product of the research will be a set of proposals for improvement, which includes suggestions for amending Administrative Resolution No. 38/2020 of the 14th Regional Labor Court, a draft of a social and environmental action plan, and the delivery of a Practical Guide to Auditing Social and Environmental Responsibility in the Judiciary, in order to contribute to the strengthening of public policies and the realization of sustainability guidelines and criteria.
