RESUMO:

The single health system (SUS) is made up of a set of actions and assistance services to the population through strategies aimed at health promotion, protection and recovery. Such precepts are intended to minimize sequelae and reduce the patient's hospital stay. Are annually reported in Brazil, about 14 snakebites / 100,000 population. This number doubles when it comes to the state of Rondônia, where the poisoning caused by snakes of the genus Bothrops is responsible for about 73.5% of reported cases. These accidents are often associated with severe and complex local manifestations, such as pain, edema, inflammation, hemorrhage and myonecrosis. Therefore, studies are needed aimed at more effective treatment of local damage. The present study uses poisons from B. Jararacussu (25 µg / animal) and B. atrox (50 µg / animal), supplied by CEBio and heterogeneous Swiss mice between 18 to 22 grams provided by the ICTB / RJ vivarium. After 30 minutes of mimicry snake poisoning, the animals are treated with some of the proposed treatments and after 3 hours blood and blood samples are taken muscle to perform cytotoxicity, myotoxicity tests and also evaluation of inflammasome activation through expression of IL-1β, caspase-1 and NLRP3, in addition to histological analysis of muscle damage. The previous results show that the groups treated with LED presented significant reduction in cytotoxicity and myotoxicity when compared to untreated group and the antivenom treated group. The data obtained corroborate with several studies in the literature that also used some of the several variations of photobiomodulation for the treatment of poisoning by some species of snakes of the Bothrops genus.
