RESUMO:

This is a work on the indigenous issue, the Brazilian State, private agents and how these agents overlap and act on indigenous territories and lives in Rondônia, a Brazilian state located in the Amazon. State and non-state indigenism, violence carried out by private agents and by (lack of) state action, and indigenous and supporters resistance will be the driving elements of this research, both in theoretical dialogue and in data organization procedures and analysis. The research had exploratory research as a procedural nature, organizing data from secondary sources: documents and manifestations of Indigenous Agents and their organizations constituted to face the State and guarantee their Rights, documents of state and non-state agents that report socio-environmental impacts in their actions or those of other groups. This thesis has as its main objective: To understand how the impacts of projects on a local, regional, national and international scale take place and to what extent in the organizations, territories and structure of indigenous peoples in the city of Porto Velho, Rondônia, as well as understand how the impacts of projects - of various sizes and scales - take place (as they occur, from planning policies, financing to implementation) on organizations, territories and structures of indigenous peoples in the city of Porto Velho, Rondônia, considering the multiplicity of agents, of scales and forms of impact, aiming to understand how such actions are developed, which risks and vulnerabilities create or intensify and which are the forms of resistance both of indigenous and non-indigenous agents.
