The research proposal will consist of bibliographical analyzes using qualitative resources. Topics will be addressed on policies to encourage innovation, regional development in the Amazon and possibilities for cooperation between companies, governments and research institutions. An enriched framework of studies accompanied by data related to the proposed theme to show how important the exploration of this subject is for the region. In the knowledge era, the search for technological innovation to increase competitiveness is extremely important for regional growth. From these analyses, it is expected to contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between public policies to promote innovation and regional development in the Amazon, as well as to provide data for the elaboration of more efficient public policies and cooperation strategies in the region. In addition, it is expected to provide subsidies for future research on the subject, contributing to the promotion of innovation and technological development in the Amazon region.
