SUMMARY:

This thesis addresses territorial planning strategies with repercussions in the southern-western Amazon, in the border region between southern Amazonas and northwestern Rondônia, whose conservation goals, in convergence with development plans, focused on the creation of the Mapinguari National Park , a conservation unit created in this region with the aim of materializing environmental protection policies against the arc of deforestation.
