RESUMO:

The Integrated Production System is a sustainable strategy that intensifies production in the cultivated areas, allowing the recovery of degraded areas and a means of ensuring the sustainability of the production system. The aim of the research was to evaluate the integrated production models (iLP and iLPF) as alternative sustainable production systems that allow to evidence the economic-financial potential to be implemented in small and medium rural properties in the southwest of the Brazilian Amazon. The research is characterized as exploratory, with a qualitative and quantitative approach. In order to evaluate the economic-financial feasibility of the integrated systems, a deterministic model was adopted, whose primary data were obtained in the experiment carried out by the Brazilian Agricultural Research Company - EMBRAPA at the Technological Reference Unit located in the experimental field in Porto Velho, Rondônia, 2017/2018 crop. The conceptual model of the area is characterized by the implantation of soybean culture in the crop, intercropped corn with Brachiaria brizantha to cultivate Xaraés in the second crop, dairy cattle breeding between the cultivation of soybean and corn (iLP System). The iLPF system is distinguished by the inclusion of the arboreal component (clone VM01), planted in rows composed of 4 eucalyptus lines, with the plant stocking of 18, 30 and 42 meters. The methodological procedures consisted, preliminarily, of the production costs (implementation and maintenance) and the revenue of each component under study, followed by the economic-financial analysis, using The Proft and Loss Statement (PNL) and the discounted Cash Flow Statement to a Minimum Attractiveness Rate of 6.14% pa, with calculations of financial indicators: Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Benefit/Cost Ratio (B/C) and Payback. An analyses of the scenarios of the components was carried out: eucalyptus, soybean, corn and livestock, using Sensitivity Analysis due to the variables: commercialization prices, productivity and cost of production. The results showed that the two integrated production systems are economically viable, and the iLP system (full sun) presented better economic and financial income. In the iLPF system, the eucalyptus production implanted in the iLPF18m model presented the best performance in relation to the economic-financial indicators. Despite the long-term characteristics the forest activity was an income alternative for small and medium producers, presenting economic viability in all evaluated indicators. The Sensitivity Analysis showed that the forest sector is sensitive to several variables, mainly to the sale price of the wood. The reduction of wood prices above 10% makes it impossible to grow eucalyptus for the 03 models analyzed, establishing a minimum price of R $ 34.20 m-3. Regarding the soybean cultivated in the iLPF system, the best performance was observed in the iLPF42m model, in all analyzed economic-financial indicators. The model of planting arrangement had a direct influence on the production costs and the revenue of the leguminous. In the simulation of soybean scenarios, all models of the iLPF System were unfeasible when they were subject to a 20% and 30% reduction in the sale price. Thus, they showed a viable reduction of up to 10% with a value of R$ 60.08 sc ha-1. Only the iLP system presented feasibility when submitted to reduction of sale price up to 20% (R$ 53.41). The comparison between the two cultivation modalities showed that the soybean cultivated in the iLP system is more advantageous for the positive economic return than that cultivated among the raws of eucalyptus. Safflower maize cultivated in the iLP system was financially feasible, with NPV (R$ 113.16), IRR (3.80%) and Ratio B/C (1.05). However, the cultivation among the rows of Eucalyptus (ILPF system) was not feasible in all models of spacing analyzed, reflecting the reduction of the profitability of this system. Livestock in the iLPF System was financially feasible for all models of the planting arrangement analyzed. The NPV of the iLP System was negative (-R $ 160,28), indicating that the livestock activity for this model is economically unfeasible in the studied conditions. The Sensitivity Analysis showed that even in the scenario of greater favorability, with a 30% increase in the sale price of the heifer arroba (R$ 159.90), the iLP System proved unfeasible, with NPV lower than zero, showing that the investment is not viale, resulting in losses to the rural producer.
