Intercropping corn with forage crops and its effects on soil attributes and soybean cultivation

The objective will be to evaluate the influence of the cultivation system on the economic and agronomic viability of intercropped corn and its residue in soybean. The experiment will be carried out at FARON from 2022 to 2026. The experimental design will be in randomized blocks in a 3x6 factorial scheme with four replications, factor 1: conventional tillage, no tillage and minimum tillage and factor 2: maize intercropping with marandu, ruziziensis, decumbens, crotalaria, mucuna and single maize, with seeds mixed with maize fertilizer. The forage will be carried out up to 30 days before soy implantation. The chemical and physical properties of the soil will be determined every 90 days. Corn parameters evaluated: plant height, stem diameter and plant population at maturation, number of grains per ear, grain moisture, mass of 100 grains and productivity. Forages: green mass and aerial dry mass and plant height. For soybean: aerial dry mass in R2, plant population at maturation; number of pods per plant; mass of 100 grains, total productivity. For economic analysis, the total operating cost of production will be used. The results will be submitted to analysis of variance and means compared by Tukey's test.
