The reconstruction and paving of the BR-319 has generated reflections regarding the environmental sustainability along the route of this highway and the possibility of connection with the deforestation arc to the central Amazon, more specifically in the Lower Madeira-Purus Interfluvium. Thus, the present work aims to analyze the landscape morphodynamics with the dynamic functioning between the geoenvironmental systems involved in the Lower Madeira-Purus Interfluvium, identifying restrictions on portions of the land with respect to vulnerability to erosion and socioenvironmental applications. The adopted method used the geospatial integration of the characteristics of the themes geology, geomorphology, pedology, rainfall intensity, vegetation and structural alignment, from cartographic data and satellite images with analysis based on the principles of the concept of ecodynamics by Tricart (1977), including mapping polygons with the same indexes of vulnerability to erosion. As a result, it was possible to distinguish five distinct classes of vulnerability to erosion distributed in the landscape of the Lower Madeira-Purus Interfluvium. The least representative in terms of area are the classes of extreme vulnerability to erosion, representing 0.90% of the study area (Vulnerable, 509.78 hectares, Moderately Vulnerable, 123,526.71 hectares and Stable, 2,343.43 hectares). The most representative classes in terms of area (99.1% of the study area, 3,987,359.25 hectares) are the intermediate classes in terms of vulnerability to erosion (Moderately Stable and Moderate). The disruption of the natural geodynamic balance begins with the development of accelerated erosive processes like ravine and / or gullet, sometimes including a regression alcove, from deforestation, followed by the removal of the surface horizon of the soil, increasing the potential for water erosivity  from the rain. Intense erosive processes, especially linear ones, are possible to be triggered by deforestation in places still with natural vegetation cover, in this case, for example, for future installation of road infrastructure works and agricultural activities, mainly in the portions of the land with high intersection density. of structural lines (north and south ends of the study area), even in portions of the land delimited by polygons with the lowest levels of vulnerability to erosion (Stable, Moderately Stable and Medially Stable / Vulnerable classes).
