The present research relates to the struggle of settlers in Madre Cristina and aims to study the formation of the settlement, agricultural and livestock production, social organization, territory management, and the current challenges of the collective organic structure of the settlers, considering the transformations that have occurred in the space-time of the research subject. Therefore, based on the premise that unequal relationships are established by the concentrated land structure, during the study, efforts were made to emphasize the agrarian issue evident in Rondonia, in order to describe and strengthen the history of the organized and collective struggle of male and female peasants collectively involved in the Landless Rural Workers Movement - MST, active in the state of Rondonia. Furthermore, in addition to the historical recovery of the agrarian issue in Rondonia and the collective organizations within the MST, we also analyzed the construction of the Madre Cristina Settlement Project, which was achieved through the collective struggle of the social movement in question. We aimed to highlight its resistances and contemporarily observed production within the context of family production, as well as the political and social transformations experienced by the settlers in recent years. The objective of this work stems from the need to understand the struggle for land and the formation of peasant territoriality as an important component to comprehend the historical geography of Rondonia, since the expansion of rural settlements itself represents and comprises a relevant chapter for the understanding of peasant territorial formation. The research was conducted through adherence to the qualitative method, so that the approaches and interactions with the research subjects would result in greater confidence for the purposes of this work.
