SUMMARY:

The study is an analysis of the anthropic actions developed in the protected areas in the delimitation of the Geographic Regions of the State, demonstrating the reality of these areas today, relating them to the effectiveness of the Intermediate and Immediate geographic regions of Rondonia in the environmental scope. For the development of this research, the area chosen for the study are the State Conservation Units in the Intermediate Geographic Regions of Porto Velho and Ji-Parana. The transformations that have occurred in the geographic space in recent decades are actions of political, socioeconomic, environmental and cultural nature that promote the advancement of economic development and an increase in anthropic actions in these areas. In this sense, the objective of this work is to analyze the relationship between protected areas on the edge of geographic regions and huma0n actions within them, taking the last seven years as the chronological period of analysis, in order to map and quantify deforestation and also identify protected areas susceptible and vulnerable to human actions and to the use and occupation of the Land in these territories. It also seeks to discuss the effectiveness of the geographic regions of the State of Rondonia in the environmental sphere. The research will be quantitative and qualitative0 in nature, divided into the following stages: (I) Theoretical Processes; Research and data collection; Bibliographic, Documentary and Cartographic; (II) Office work; using geoprocessing and remote sensing with analysis of satellite images to map deforestation and analysis of the ITA (Anthropic Transformation Index) for Land use and occupation. (III) - Fieldwork; with visits to verify and confirm the regions and Conservation Units with the greatest anthropic pressures. (IV) Analysis of the systematization of information acquired in the office to generate thematic maps of the results achieved and final analyses of the research. The results are analyses with information on the current situation of the protected areas established0 in the geographic regions of Rondonia.
