GEODESIGN APPLIED IN TEMPORAL ANALYSIS OF VULNERABILITY URBAN SOCIOSPATIAL IN THE SOUTH-WEST AMAZON: CASE STUDY FROM THE CITIES OF PORTO VELHO, JI-PARANÁ AND VILHENA – RO

This work proposes the study of socio-spatial vulnerability from the analysis of temporality and resilience of socially vulnerable urban areas in the cities of Vilhena, JiParaná, and Porto Velho. Factor analysis was used as a statistical tool based on the work of Almeida (2010) and the application of Geodesign principles that aim to provide subsidies for territorial management and sustainable development and propose spatial solutions that mitigate this vulnerability. Therefore, the geographical cut adopted for the analysis, systematization of data, and construction of factors was the census sector and the official source used was the Demographic Censuses, being organized from the broad dimension proposed by Almeida (2010). The results were submitted to the statistical method of factor analysis that allowed the formation of Social Vulnerability Indices - IVS and in the GIS environment (Geographic Information System) its spatialization. Considering the transformations in the urban structures of Brazil due to new economic policies and their central role in capitalist production, Geodesign and the framework proposed by Stenitz (2012) stand out as a more collaborative and integrated approach to sustainable urban planning and development, with this the study aims to propose spatial solutions from the organization of the data collected based on the multicriteria analysis, using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which allows analyzing the influence and understanding how the vulnerability of the cities of Porto Velho, Ji-Paraná, and Vilhena behaved during the years 2000, 2010, and 2022 regarding their socioeconomic aspects.
