SUMMARY:

This work aims to discuss the process of urban formation in the city of Anori and seek an understanding of how the globalizing processes of the world act in the formation of its urbanity. In Amazonas, much is discussed about the urban centers of greater economic expression, in political centrality or in municipalities with great agricultural productivity and cultural prominence, but few studies deal in a particular way with the small Amazonian cities that were formed under the shadow of other already consolidated centers. or that are geographically invisible due to their location, but that participate in the state's urban network and have cultural significance for its population and are a space where capitalism reproduces itself in its exclusive and selective form. Based on the city, Anori's urban profile and its insertion in the globalized world, this work raises the issue of how globalization is inserted in Amazonian spaces such as Anori and its influences on it. As a research hypothesis, it is believed that the rarefied globalization proposed to Anori and its geographic location are factors that determine its chaotic and disorganized urban profile. As a justification, it is believed that analyzing the small Amazonian fractions in a particular way is important to understand how they contribute to the economy of the urban network of Amazonas. Starting from the process of urban formation of the city of Anori, this work will discuss themes about the urban profile of the city and will outline the milestones that defined its territorial formation and its insertion in the globalized world, in addition to seeking to understand how its economy is structured. This study deals with Anori analyzing it from the geographic perspective of the territory, based on the concept of Haesbaert, 2004:95-96, and will deal with the urban profile according to concepts formulated by Santos and Silveira, 2001, p. 264 in which the authors discuss the luminous and opaque spaces through which globalization is inserted. As methodological procedures, the research will be carried out by qualitative means and will include the application of open electronic forms to the general population of Anori and interviews with commercial agents and high school students from the full-time school in the city. As a result, it is expected to achieve the objectives and make a detailed description of the process of formation of the city and show the economic articulation of Anori with the neighboring municipalities and states, in addition to describing its urban organization.
