SUMMARY:

The teaching of electrical circuits in secondary education presents challenges related to conceptual abstraction, difficulties in achieving meaningful learning, and students' low motivation toward traditional teaching methods. In this context, the adoption of instructional strategies that promote greater engagement and active student participation in the learning process becomes highly relevant. This study aims to develop and implement a board game entitled Living Circuits as a teaching strategy for electrical circuits in secondary education. The proposal consists of designing a game inspired by playful learning dynamics, in which students advance across a game board by rolling dice while being challenged with conceptual questions related to the subject matter. Progress in the game depends on both chance and the students' mastery of the physical concepts addressed. The research follows a qualitative approach and involves the implementation of the educational product in a secondary school class at Laurindo Rabelo Municipal Elementary and Secondary School, located in the municipality of Alto Paraíso, Rondônia, Brazil. Data will be collected through diagnostic questionnaires, participant observation, and analysis of students' responses during the activity. It is expected that the game will enhance students' understanding of electrical circuit concepts while fostering interaction among learners, increasing classroom engagement, and promoting meaningful learning. Therefore, the proposed board game represents an effective and enjoyable methodological alternative for teaching Physics in secondary education.
